Well would you look at that!

The weather in the boat has been a bit iffy, and we’ve been seeing more and more sun lately. We’re starting to see Steamboat Springs Real Estate in quite the different light than we are used to, but we’ll be saying the same thing when winter 2011 rolls around. The town got a quick, but harsh flurry today, and for the rest of the day it remained relatively overcast.

The mountain will be closing soon and Steamboat Springs Real Estate won’t be covered in snow. Snow is receding on parts of the mountain and throughout town. There’s not many stop signs where you can’t see left or right anymore, thank god for the sun! Steamboat Springs real estate will be getting slightly more exciting over the next few months with more activities opening up. We’ll just have to wait and see what this summer will be like, but the weather service is stating that this spring will consist of a huge run-off, not because there was a record amount of snow (there was a lot of snow for Steamboat Springs real estate,) but because temperatures remained very low for many days of the season.

The big “G” seems to be neglecting this website, not real sure why, or if it’s just because the site has been sandboxed for over a year, but it simply isn’t moving anywhere. So, I’ll let this site sit, maybe it’ll jump a little bit, get danced a bit, and move around. If it starts showing positive rankings, I’ll start updating it. More Frozen Weather for Steamboat Springs Real Estate

It’s been a cold week across the valley. With temperatures reaching a low of -36 degrees Fahrenheit! This is the first time schools in the Steamboat Springs real estate area have been closed because of the weather since 1989!

Because the temperatures were so blisteringly low, yet it hadn’t reached -40 degrees. This is the current requirement for school to be cancelled because diesel will freeze (school busses.) Because the temperatures were so bitter, school was cancelled and the superintendent is considering adjusting the temperature requirement for school to be cancelled. More news for Steamboat Springs real estate soon!

Steamboat Springs Real Estate & Homes News

Finally getting some better SERP results, we believe the site has been sand-boxed, a recent accumulation of links has pushed the site nearly four pages closer to #1. We also believe that since the site changed topic from focusing on one piece of Steamboat Springs Real Estate, Google became confused. We’re adding the page’s content back to the site at designated pages to re-inform Google and other search engines, that yes, we are still all about Steamboat Springs Real Estate.

A list of pages include our gallery, contact, about, and informational pages. Hopefully this will un-sandbox us and bring us to the top. While we can’t reveal our plans completely or what we’re aiming for, we can tell you that Steamboat Springs real estate will have a new competitor!

For now, that’s all the news we have. Tourist levels have remained the same, with a slight decline over the past few weeks, but are still in the thousands. Downtown restaurants such as Mazzola’s are packed with 30+ minute waits as well as other restaurants around the mountain. Sales throughout December have not yet been reported in terms of Steamboat Springs real estate, however, those figures will be out soon!

More Steamboat Springs Real Estate

The pilot reported today that the mountain is expecting higher numbers over this spring. The numbers were recently discussed at a local business conference. These predictions will not only help predict the mountain’s response to the visitors, but the response of Steamboat Springs real estate as well.

“This could be the biggest thing for Steamboat Springs real estate”

More news has been released that locals have started to fix up their houses, not just to sell them, but to increase value as well. Businesses in town that sell home improvement supplies are in an upward trend because of these sales. Steamboat Springs real estate and it’s market will probably see an increase.

Other things affecting Steamboat Springs real estate is financing. With the economy slowly recovering to pre-recession levels, they won’t ever reach the glory days of 2006 – 2008. However, they will rebound, and because Steamboat Springs real estate is in a bubble, it can survive. It’s expected that the real estate market will thrive over the coming months as well. As is with most places across the country, less homes are being built and more homes are being sold. An odd ratio, but builders slowed a lot once the economy dropped, and Steamboat Springs real estate actually overtook the amount of homes being built.

More Snow for the ‘boat

As of writing, it’s completely dumping outside. Covering Steamboat Springs real estate with a fresh blanked of snow. According to the forecast, the boat should expect snow all week! In total, 14 – 33inches. Plus, snow from Saturday night till at least Friday! That’s what a la nina can produce in so little time! Overall the mountain has had 215″ as of 5am on the 16th and this number should raise another two inches by tomorrow.

We’re expecting a lot of people in town over the next few weeks, driving near the mountain and downtown, you’ll notice many out of state license plates. The number of visitors may also affect Steamboat Springs real estate showings and even sales.

Other Steamboat Springs real estate news around town includes the recent purchase of the Lake Village in Hayden by two men with a loan from Vectra Bank.

Prudential’s Steamboat Springs real estate division announced that Greg Danziger would become a new broker for the company’s in town office.

Steamboat Springs Real Estate – Limited!!

As reported by the Steamboat Pilot today, the amount of available room for visitors is quite limited. Capacity is at 94%. Estimates state that nearly 12,000 visitors where in the Steamboat Springs area over the past few weeks. This number is double that of the Steamboat population! This can be a critical time for Steamboat Springs Real Estate with this many people in town, it can surely bring in sales. Rumor has it that Jim Cantore of the weather channel will be in town for a live broadcast from Steamboat.

Local workers also reported an increase of sales in the home improvement and appliance industries due to people feeling more comfortable with the economy. Hopefully this positive trend will continue upward to also affect the real estate in Steamboat Springs as well.

If you are looking to travel to Steamboat anytime soon and don’t have a reservation, we suggest that you make a reservation as soon as possible to avoid complications. Another tip: Frontier is currently offering the best fairs to Steamboat, so if you haven’t booked yet, book now at your favorite travel site (reference). The Hayden airport is one of the safest places to land. If you’re looking to land closer or you are chartering a plane, you can land directly in Steamboat and be only fourteen minutes from the base of the mountain! As is normal with visitors in town, there’s the increased possibility of more sales related to Steamboat Springs real estate.

Steamboat Homes More Than 200 Inches!

After multiple storms blanketed the Steamboat region over the past few weeks, the Steamboat mountain announced that it has surpassed the 200 inch mark. At one point the mountain had gained 18 inches at the summit in a period of 48 hours! Clearly Steamboat is home to excellent winter activities.

Real estate in Steamboat Springs over the past month was also climbing. With the winter months here, more tourists looking for more property, and new houses entering the market. It’s no wonder why Steamboat real estate has been featured in magazines and publications world wide. The town was also home to an L.L. Bean season special for a clothing line.

The Steamboat Springs city manager, Jon Roberts was injured in a ski accident earlier this month and is still improving according to his wife, Jen Roberts. The community has been incredibly supportive of Jon and his family over the past few weeks. It’s these actions that make homes in Steamboat Springs feel so friendly.

Steamboat, Getting Powder!

Homes in Steamboat Springs are sure going to be covered today! According to the National Weather Service office in Grand Junction, western Colorado is going to see a lot of snow today. Steamboat is expecting 10 – 20 inches at higher elevations and 6 – 10 inches in town. The storm also comes as a good surprise because of the many tourists in Steamboat who will be able to experience the new dry snow that Steamboat is famous for. Hopefully it will bring the tourists back to buy some real estate in Steamboat Springs!
