Steamboat Mountain – Optimizing Its Real Estate

The snow is still falling and according to the weather it’s going to be snowing into Wednesday! While some people are sad about the warm months disappearing, it’s not a big deal considering what the mountain has in store for the 2010 – 2011 season. According to the Steamboat mountain home site, they will be adding more competitions and a total of five terrain areas with varying levels of difficulty (beginner – expert.) We have to agree that this is an excellent advancement for the mountain and people who have homes in Steamboat Springs or people who are visiting, will love it.

We’ll be adding homes and real estate to our pages soon. Also, a images page will be going live as well. Stay tuned!

Steamboat Snowings

As of now it is snowing and its overcast outside. People might want to make a snowman but there isn’t much snow on the ground. Only 12 days left till the mountain opens for business. The real estate in the mountain area will see much more traffic than it’s used to. Who knows, maybe a few homes will be sold in Steamboat because of opening day!

Blowing Snow In Steamboat

With opening day for the 2010-2011 season just 13 days away, the mountain crews are blowing snow to get ready for opening day. The mountain opens on December 24th, so make sure you’re ready to get up! With two coatings of snow already, expect opening day to be quite exciting. And opening day always brings in potential real estate buyers for Steamboat Springs.

Steamboat in Warren Miller’s “Off The Grid”

steamboat snowboard Steamboat in Warren Millers Off The Grid

Warren Miller has made arguably the best ski related videos. In 2006, Steamboat Springs was featured in the movie “Off The Grid.” It’s an interesting watch and I recommend it to anyone who either owns a home or is interested in owning a home in Steamboat. Here’s the video:

We highly recommend that you forward this to anyone you who has been to Steamboat (or lives here!) Remember, this exposure helps our real estate market.

Steamboat snow, again!

Steamboat Springs has seen its second brush with snow. I’m sure we’ll see more soon. With snow, more tourists coming from other areas, it helps our real estate which boosts home sales of course.
